Research and Development Support Software

The Mirak software operates like a large group management system. Participants connect to it through standard browsers .They are then guided through collaborative processes designed to achieve the organization's R&D goals.

The system is provided as a SaaS (software as a service) hosted by Mirak. Each company has it own secure access controlled system.

Mirak's software allows your organization to expand the reach of your research and development activities by including staff and external consultants in different locations to participate effectively at different times (asynchronously).

The Mirak software uses a common directory tree structure. Normal user participation involves basic activities including - reviewing and scoring other posts, selecting options, and posting statements and comments. Participation can be tracked as to level and quality of participation (such as suggestions that were approved) - supporting a reputation-based environment.

The software consists of different modules that act as business processes designed to involve people to collaboratively produce required outcomes that build together to achieve your research and development goals.

A standard configuration of modules to support research and development would include -
  • Goal Setting
  • Project Descriptions
  • Info/News/Events
  • Task List
  • Improvement Suggestions
  • Time Tracking
  • Contact List
  • Knowledge Library
  • Decision Making (cost benefit analysis)
  • Problem Definition
  • Solution Framing
  • Evolutionary Problem Solving
  • Project Management
Use of the software is hosted and provided by Mirak for free. Set up, creating specialized modules and maintenance are provided on a competitive hourly rate basis.
